Your Instructor
Silvia is an early intervention specialist who works with teachers and parents of children with special needs. She studied the Psychology of Education and Social Studies at University and set up a clinic in Dublin to support children’s development, helping them develop to their fullest potential with the help of a wide range of individuals and resources. She understands first hand what parents face when they have a child with autism as her own son has autism. Her personal experiences inspired her to start her own organisation to share her knowledge and support teachers and parents when caring for children with Autism. She developed “The CIRCLE Programme”, an online course based on her years of work as an early intervention specialist. It aims to support teachers to make classrooms inclusive for children with special needs, and it includes everything teachers need to know, do, and understand in order to adapt activities so that all children can be active participants in the classroom.
