Frequently Asked Questions

From course details to extensions, here are the answers to our most common queries. Still unsure? Email us at enquiries@annarbor.co.uk.

Is this course right for me?

You don’t need prior experience in testing or assessment. This course is an excellent introduction, particularly suited to SENCOs, special education teachers, assistant psychologists, or anyone administering/using psychometric or academic tests. A teaching qualification is recommended but not essential.

What is the learning experience like?

We offer two formats—Live Online and On-Demand. Both cover the same content:

  • Live Online: Interactive Zoom lectures with opportunities to ask questions and collaborate.
  • On-Demand: Learn at your own pace with short video lessons, quizzes, exercises, and forum discussions.
How is the course assessed?

Assessments include practical work, short written exercises, a recorded test administration, and a written educational report. All are submitted online and marked against the BPS competency framework.

Do I gain a qualification after completing this course?

Yes — successful completion leads to a professional certificate awarded by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in standardised educational testing.

How long do I have access to my course?
  • ATU Course: 6 months
  • CCET On-Demand: 12 months
  • CCET Live Bootcamp: 6 months

Once your course expires, you’ll be unenrolled automatically. CCET On-Demand learners also get reminder emails at 3, 6, 9, and 11 months.

Can I extend my course if I need more time?

Yes — extensions are available at €50 per month for up to 6 months beyond your original expiry date. Extensions are calculated from the original deadline, not the request date.

Example: If your course expired on 1st April and you buy 3 months in June, you pay €150 and your new deadline is 1st July.

Note: No delegate can study beyond the 6-month extension window. After that, you’ll need to re-enrol at a 50% discounted rate.

How do I request an extension?

To request an extension:

  • Complete the Extension Request Form
  • Select the number of months required
  • Pay online by credit/debit card (invoices not accepted)
  • Receive your updated deadline by email

Important: Requests are only processed after both form + payment are submitted. Refunds are not given if you finish early.
